Eric Horstman

Eric Horstman is a graduate of Troy High School (’88) in Troy, Ohio. Upon graduation he attended Ohio Northern University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (’93).



Eric also obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering (’96) from Southern Methodist University.

Eric started his career as a Project Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Mound Facility in Miamisburg, Ohio. This position led to a consulting job with a private company out of Washington D.C. Being an avid sports fan, he soon grew bored with the engineering field and decided to get involved in a sports related career.

For 3 years Eric co-owned a sports marketing company. After selling his shares in that endeavor, he founded Sports Image, Inc. (www.sportsimageinc.com). Sports Image, Inc. is a sports marketing company targeting athletic departments across the country to help them acquire equipment and revenue that they cannot otherwise afford.

Through his works with high schools, Eric concentrated his efforts on bringing a premier basketball tournament to the Dayton, Ohio area. Eric had just finished a project for the Vandalia-Butler High School athletic department and worked the details with school administration to become the host of the first annual FLYIN’ TO THE HOOP International Holiday Invitational.

On a personal note, Eric enjoys spending time with his family. He also plays organized baseball and enjoys weightlifting, golf, basketball, fishing and scuba diving. Eric resides in Springboro with his wife Lori, twins - Jaxon and Jordyn and Doberman Pinscher, Aries.
